Serving the Greater Houston Metro Area and Southeast Texas, including Galveston and the Bay Area, Beaumont, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, and the Brazos Valley, the Alzheimer’s Association Houston & Southeast Texas is here to help. The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
The mission of the Del Mar Foundation is to promote civic pride and cohesiveness, acquire and preserve open space, improve beaches and parklands, raise and grant funds, and sponsor diverse cultural programs and community events in Del Mar. The Foundation also provides financial support to community organizations and projects such as the Del Mar Library, Lifeguards and the Beach Safety Center, the Del Mar Garden Club, Del Mar Community Connections, and the Shores acquisition.
Founded in 1913 by the guiding hand of Miss Ima Hogg, the Grammy Award-winning Houston Symphony has played a central role in Houston’s cultural and civic life for more than 100 years. The symphony is now one of America’s oldest performing arts organizations and the largest performing arts organization in Houston, with a mission to inspire and engage a large and diverse audience in Greater Houston and beyond through exceptional orchestral and non-orchestral performances, educational programs and community activities.
The mission of the Carole and Ronald Krist Samaritan Counseling Center (KSC) is to help those in need attain emotional, mental, and spiritual health through counseling, education, and professional training programs. A nationally recognized non-profit organization offering counseling services to individuals and families in the Greater Houston/Galveston area, KSC strives to serve everyone regardless of age, ethnicity, faith, or ability to pay.
