From Sunday, September 13th to Tuesday, September 15th, the Texas Local Fire Fighters’ Pension Conference (TLFFRA) will be held at the Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. Champion’s Dr. Mary Kathryn Campion will participate as one of the event’s speakers Monday afternoon. Dr. Campion’s presentation entitled “Investments and Portfolio Construction” will inform participants of the intricacies of portfolio construction and investment management. The three day event will cover a range of relevant topics for the pension board members and industry service providers in attendance. The conference is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to educate pension fund board members and currently serves approximately 6,400 members across the state, representing approximately $1.4 billion in assets.
